All Saints Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry

Our High school youth ministry is open to all teens in grades 9-12. Our ministry exists to spark involvement in local teens to celebrate our faith by: connecting teens in a Catholic setting, leading them to experience Christ and inspiring a life of Catholic ministry. Contact Caitlyn Ulery with any questions about the ministry by email at uleryc@allsaints-stpeters.org.

Our youth group meets Sunday nights for Life Nights from 7:00pm – 8:30pm in the ministryCenter (unless noted otherwise). We play games, share about our faith and have time for prayer. It’s always a good time with friends. There is no sign up, just show up!

We attend the Steubenville Youth Conference every July in Springfield MO. Many teens from around St. Louis credit this retreat for how they got deeper into their faith. Steubenville is hosted by Missouri State University and features 3,500 excited Catholic teens . There is amazing music, unique speakers and lots of time to pray. It’s a great experience, look for registration in January and February.

Every fall we have a semester retreat for our high school students. We go away for a weekend to a retreat site where we grow deeper in our faith and closer to our friends. It’s an amazing weekend that creates memories for everyone. Look for signups in the fall.

Our high school teens are deeply involved in our Luke 18 retreat. They help lead small groups, give talks and otherwise give our 8th graders perspective on what it’s like to be Catholic in high school. In other words, our high school students are essential to Luke 18!!! The retreat is in April with meetings in March.

We have a special opportunity for Sophomores and Juniors in our parish. Each summer we attend the Life Teen Leadership Conference that is hosted by Benedictine College in Atchison KS. This is a transformative weeklong retreat that teaches us the depth of our faith and gives our teens great tools to share it with at our home in our parish. It also features the best music and is just a special experience. Look for registration in January.

Middle School Ministry

Our Middle School Ministry is for youth grades 6-8. This ministry aims to draw our middle school youth together whether they are from All Saints school, Parish School of Religion or even friends outside the parish. We want to create a place where youth make memories and make friends at All Saints. For any questions please contact Caitlyn Ulery at uleryc@allsaints-stpeters.org

Every Monday evening during the school year we have Middle School nights. We meet one Friday night in the Parish Center for social or service nights. Our social nights have ranged from a Beach Party, Flour Bomb Night, and Finger Rockets. These have been great nights for our youth to get together and make memories at the Parish.

For our 8th graders we offer our Luke 18 retreat every April. This is one of our biggest events of the year! This retreat is lead by our high school teens who give the talk and lead small groups. It gives a great insight into how to live out your Catholic faith in high school. It also has time for games and music. It’s a great experience! Look for registration forms in February and March.
