Our catechumens and candidates, their sponsors and Godparents, family, and parish members gathered at the Cathedral on Sunday, February 26th with those from other parishes in the archdiocese.  Archbishop Rozanski was the presider for the Rite of Election for the catechumens and the Call to Continuing Conversion for the candidates.  During each rite, the catechumens and candidates were each called by name to come forward with the Godparent and/or sponsor to affirm their intention and readiness to be initiated into the Church at the Easter Vigil. Before the Rite began, Bishop Rozanski came out to the baptismal area of the Cathedral to meet individually with the people who are preparing to enter the Catholic Church at this year's Easter Vigil.
