Welcome Solange Mpembele, Our New Director of Administration!

We are so excited to announce our new Director of Administration, Solange Mpembele! Her strong adminsitrative skills and even stronger love of the Lord will be a wonderful asset to our team!

Mrs. Solange Mpembele was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo but spent most of her adult life in Belgium. Solange received her bachelor's degree in Accounting from Queen Astrid College in the Mons region of Belgium. She then held various administrative positions in the pharmaceutical industry, and with the Belgian Federal Office of Unemployment. Her native language is French.

In 2009, Solange married her husband, Gilles. They lived for a brief period in Connecticut before moving to Saginaw, Michigan, and eventually to the St. Louis area in 2013. During those years, Solange and Gilles started their family and were blessed to have Donny, born in 2010 in New Haven, CT, then Rosie, born in 2011 in Saginaw, MI, and Joelle, born in 2013 in St. Louis.

Solange and her family moved to St. Peters in 2014 and built their house. They joined the All-Saints Parish community, enrolled their three kids in the All-Saints school, and began participating actively in parish life. Solange has had a lifelong passion for serving the church and others. She loves singing in the choir and helping in the kitchen, particularly during busy events like Grandparent’s day and Lenten Fish Fry. She was a member of the after-care team and served briefly as a substitute teacher. Solange participates in the women's Bible study group and she is a team member of ACTs.

On the professional side, Solange had an excellent opportunity to put her administrative skills and experience to work when she joined the "Alliance Francaise of St Louis" in 2016. Her responsibilities at the Alliance consisted of everything from office management and accounting, to teaching French to adults and kids alike. At the Alliance she developed a reputation for being a compassionate, empathetic people person and an enthusiastic organizer with an inner joy and positive energy which she looks forward to bringing to the All-Saints Administrative team.

In her spare time, Solange enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, going on walks with her husband and kids, and catching up on the phone with her many cousins, nephews, and nieces scattered around the world.
