Give Green for Belize

GIVE GREEN FOR BELIZE!

A parishioner has made a challenge grant available – a match, dollar for dollar for all parish donations to the Belize medical supply fund, up to a $2,500 limit.

Every penny raised will place medical supplies in the hands of people who need them desperately and will save lives. One of the greatest needs of the villages in Belize that our parish works with is simple, basic medical supplies.

The villagers have ALMOST NO medical supplies available to them, and the nearest real medical help can be a two hour walk and comes at a cost that few can afford to pay.

In real truth, villagers can die from something as simple as an infected cut! In recent years, our mission group has made great strides in health education and first aid training, and many supplies such as antibiotic creams, band-aids, dressings, splints, and over the counter medicines have been made available to the villagers for the first time ever.

The need always outweighs the supplies that we bring! Envelopes are available in the church pews and put in the collection baskets.

Your gift of $1, $5 or $10 will make a real difference…..any checks can made payable to All Saints and placed in the specially labeled envelope.

As we celebrate St. Patrick's day, can you give a little green for Belize? Thank you or your prayers and contribution to the wellness of our friends in Belize.
